No. Sekvora mounts as a local disk using the WebDAV support built into macOS, Windows, and most Linux desktop environments — no desktop client, no sync daemon, nothing to install. Sign in with Google, create an app password in the web dashboard, then press ⌘K in Finder (Map network drive in Windows Explorer, or Connect to Server in your Linux file manager) and connect to https://dav.sekvora.com.

What platforms does Sekvora work on?

macOS Finder, Windows Explorer, and Linux file managers (GNOME Files, KDE Dolphin, or davfs2) — via the WebDAV support built into each platform. Mounting is desktop-only, but the web dashboard works in any modern browser.

How secure is my data?

All data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3. Files are stored on redundant, globally distributed cloud infrastructure. Authentication is handled through Google OAuth, so we never store your password — connections from Finder or Explorer use per-device app passwords you can revoke anytime.

What file types are supported?

All of them. Because Sekvora mounts as a local disk, any file your computer can open works on your Sekvora drive — documents, images, videos, archives, and more. There are no restrictions on file formats.

Can I preview files before downloading?

Files on your mounted drive open directly in the apps you already use — Finder's Quick Look, your image viewer, your editor — just like local files. There's no separate preview step.

Can I share files with people who don't have an account?

Yes. You can create shareable links for any file or folder. Links can be password-protected and set to expire after a specific time. Recipients don't need a Sekvora account to download shared files.

Can I share a folder as a drive?

Yes. Any share link can also be mounted read-only: connect to https://dav.sekvora.com with the username share_<token> from your link and the share password. Recipients get a drive they can browse in Finder or Explorer, not just a download page.

What happens if I exceed my storage limit?

Once you reach your storage limit, you won't be able to add new files until you upgrade your plan or free up space. Existing files remain accessible and safe.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period. After cancellation, your account will revert to the free tier with 5 GB storage.
